In 2010 I decided to visit the Kanton Wallis and the Rhone valley, which was a new area for me. Starting from Basel I headed for the Linthal valley before crossing the Klausenpass and on to Andermat. From there I crossed the 2431m Furkapass under clear blue skies before decending to the beatiful Goms at the head of the Rhone valley.
This was probably my most demanding tour as my handlebars broke on the first day, and I rode for 2 days with just half a handlebar.
