APB Tandem Sale

Lesiure tandem based on Moulton APB components and a conventional non-separable single marathon Reynolds 531 frame. The frame has been professionally built with fillet brazed construction and looks beautiful. It is 12 years old but has only had light usage and the transmission shows no sign of wear. The bike has been in storage for the past 10 years. There are a few minor chips to the paintwork, otherwise the bike is in excellent condition. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a unique bicycle.

Frame APB front and rear forks and APB rear seat tube. The remainder is Reynolds 531 fillet brazed with an oval drainpipe.
Suspension Uprated custom made front spring with standard APB rear suspension
Transmission Stronglight Escape crossover drive with 34/44/52 triple rings
Gears Campagnola Veloce front and rear mechs with Sram gripshift changers
Wheels Shimano hubs with a 7 speed 12-28 cassette. Rigida 406 wide section rims
Tyres Schwalbe Marathon 406x35mm. These are less than 2 years old.

Size The bike would be suitable for a captain between 5ft 4ins and 6ft, and a stoker between 5ft 2ins and 5ft 8ins
Ride Compared to a conventional tandem the bike is very stiff and gives a very comfortable ride.

Any prospective buyers need to test ride the bike before purchasing. Therefore it is available for collection only from HU16 5UE in East Yorkshire. A roof rack may be available if required.
